Nathan and Samantha's Ivy House Wedding
Nathan and Samantha's Ivy House Wedding
After a years wait due to (OF COURSE) COVID 19, Nathan and Sammi finally were able to "GET MARRIED"
You will not find a cuter, sweeter, more fun loving couple than Nathan and Samantha!
From the moment we arrived at their wedding, we could feel great vibes, we knew it would be an awesome wedding to photograph and create a video. We have known Sammi since she was a baby. Sammi has always been delightfully fun, not to mention beautiful, kind, sweet, etc, etc. Ryan grew up with her, they have many mutual friends. We loved her lay back attitude as a bride, and sense of humor, we also knew we would be laughing a lot on her wedding day. Which we did!
We can't go on without mentioning Nathan, he to was so kind, and loving. Before the wedding Nathan seemed a bit reserved and maybe a tad bit nervous, this was surprising since he is a radio personality who entertains thousands of people each day. You get a little bit of a glimpse into a persons personality by the way they treat the ones they love. Throughout the day Nathan was so genuine and kind to all those around him, especially Sammi. They are each others best friend, rock, confidant and lover.
Even though it was extremely chilly and windy outside; Nathan and Sammi put up with goosebumps to be photographed in Fernweh, the patio at Ivy House. The wedding party then boarded a trolly for the ride to The Knickerbocker Hotel and Juneau Park for more wedding photos. Thank goodness for a few champagne toasts to warm everyone up.
Enough about both Nathan and Sammi... now onto the celebration.
The event was held at The Ivy House in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Ivy House is a phenomenal venue! Both indoor and outdoor spaces are awesome. The Outdoor Patio is a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the party. The inside is stunning with its center lit chandelier, up lighting, plants, cream city brick walls and the large modern bar. We know the large bar is very important, as did many of the guests!
The ceremony; presided by Sammi's step brother was so personal, there were tears, there was laughter, there were nerves, everything to make a ceremony memorable. One moment that was so touching was when Ava the flower girl was crying during the ceremony, Nathan bent down to her level for a little hug and reassurance. So sweet! The couple was toasted by the guests after they said "I Do", then the party began. The Best Man and Maid of Honor speeches were hilarious, very well delivered, the expressions on Nathan and Sammi during the speeches were priceless. On top of all that, a video was made for Nathan and Samantha from the many family and friends who were not able to attend because of COVID restrictions. What a wonderful idea this was, the wishes and greetings were so heart felt. Dancing and frolicking carried into the evening, with still more smiles and fun.
Nathan and Sammi, thank you, thank you, thank you for letting us be part of your special wedding. You are wished so much love and happiness, forever!
